Těšany, poutní kaple Panny Marie Pomocnice křesťanů

The chapel of the Virgin Mary Help of Christians stands on a hill, east of the village Těšany. It is above the Těšany Dam, surrounded by vineyards. The chapel is visible from distance. The reason for constructing the chapel was gratefulness to the Virgin Mary for the happy return of Těšany political prisoners from concentration camps. The octagonal chapel building has got a covered column gallery and a large cross in the façade. The dominant of the simple interior is an altar with a statue of the Virgin Mary. A path leading to the chapel is surrounded by trees. Every year in May, people come to the chapel to celebrate the pilgrimage Holy Mass.
